1. The Little Goat’s Gift
In a small village, a boy had a goat that
gave only a little milk each day. The boy shared it with his mother and younger
sisters.
One day, an earthquake struck and destroyed a neighbor’s house. The neighbor
had a newborn baby, but no food. The boy gave all the milk to that baby.
His mother asked, “What will we eat now?”
The boy replied, “We can sleep hungry, but that baby might die crying.”
The next day, villagers heard about the boy’s kindness and brought food and
grains for his family.

A boy worked in the king’s palace. His job
was to clean golden spoons.

The king sent men to take the spoon out and said, “A child who dares to speak
the truth is the greatest treasure.” He rewarded the boy.

3. The Cat and the Kind Mouse
A rich merchant had plenty of food. Many
mice lived in his house. So he brought a cat.
The mice were frightened and ran away. But one mouse said, “If we share some
food with the cat, he won’t be our enemy.”
That night, the mouse quietly gave rice grains to the cat. The cat was
surprised and soon became their friend.
The merchant was also happy, because now the mice didn’t destroy food and the
cat kept the house clean.

4. The Mother and Daughter’s Dream
A little girl told her mother, “Mom, when I
grow up, I will buy you a big house and many clothes.”
The mother smiled and replied, “My dear, I don’t need a big house. What I need
is your love.”
The next day, the little girl brought her mother some flowers. The mother cried
with happiness.
